Median of a triangle  (त्रिभुज की माध्यिका)

In a triangle if we join midpoint of any side to the opposite vertex then it is called median 

 किसी त्रिभुज में यदि हम किसी भुजा के मध्य बिन्दु को सम्मुख शीर्ष से मिला दें तो वह माध्यिका कहलाती है

In the given figure M is the midpoint of BC so AM is median, we can draw two more medians BN and CL from vertices B and C respectively  (दी गई आकृति में M, BC का मध्यबिंदु है इसलिए AM माध्यिका है, हम क्रमशः शीर्षों B और C से दो और माध्यिकाएँ, BN , CL खींच सकते हैं)

N and L are mid point of CA and AB respectively (N और L क्रमशः CA और AB के मध्य बिंदु हैं)

Centroid Point, where all the three medians intersect each other is called centroid in this figure point O is centroid .

बिंदु, जहां तीनों माध्यिकाएं एक दूसरे को काटती हैं, केन्द्रक कहलाती हैं, इस चित्र में बिंदु O केन्द्रक है।

The centroid divides each median into 2:1 ie OA:OM = OB:ON =OC:OL = 2:1

 Circle

Definition of circle - Circle is the set (group) of all those points which are equidistant from a fixed point.

this fixed point is called the centre(O) of the circle.

Radius of the circle- If we construct a line which join centre of the circle to the any point of boundary (circumference) of the circle. Generally we denote radius by r.

OA,OB. OC OD are radius of circle

Chord of a circle- Line joining the two points of a circle is called chord.

AB, CD, EF are chords 

Diameter of a circle- A line (chord) that passes through the centre of the circle is called diameter of circle.Diameter is the longest chord.

Relation between diameter and radius-

                diameter = 2 (radius) 

Area of circle 

 Area of circle = 𝞹r²    (where 𝞹 = 22/7 and r = radius)

Circumference of circle- length of the boundary of a circle or perimeter of  a circle is called circumference.

circumference of a circle = 2𝞹r  (where 𝞹 = 22/7 and r = radius)

Triangle is three sided closed figure.

Types of triangle 

a) Scalene  triangle - All 3 sides and angles are different measurement.

b) Isosceles triangle - 2 sides are equal and two corresponding angles are equal.

c) Equilateral triangle- All 3 sides are equal and each angle is 60

d) Right angle triangle - One angle is 90.
